Digitalising hospitality: CheckInn, the first Kazakhstani hotel automation system, joins KAHR

CheckInn has joined the Kazakhstan Association of Hotels and Restaurants (KAHR). We are glad to announce that we are now part of KAHR — the industry body that brings together hoteliers, restaurateurs and hospitality suppliers across the Republic of Kazakhstan. For more than 26 years (since 1998) KAHR has defended the interests of market participants, lobbied for tourism development and united more than 200 representatives of the country's hotel industry.
Kazakhstan's tourism and hospitality industry is taking a confident step towards innovation. This strategic partnership combines many years of experience defending business interests with advanced technology capable of transforming the way Kazakhstani hoteliers work.
A union of tradition and modern technology
The Kazakhstan Association of Hotels and Restaurants (KAHR) is a respected industry body founded in 1998. For over 26 years it has served as the industry's principal voice, protecting the interests of market participants and actively lobbying for tourism development at government level. Today the Association unites more than 200 industry representatives: from independent hotel complexes to international chains and equipment suppliers. CheckInn joining KAHR — a property management system (PMS) that matters for the local market — opens new prospects for digitalising the sector. As the first automation system developed entirely in Kazakhstan, CheckInn has set itself an ambitious goal: to turn every domestic property into the modern service guests expect.A universal solution at any scale
With tourist flow rising and competition intensifying, it is getting harder for hotels to rely on outdated management methods: spreadsheets, disconnected programs or paper logs. Those are exactly the problems this home-grown product sets out to solve. As the platform's creators note, CheckInn's functionality adapts to any scale of business: from small hostels, apartments and glamping sites to large country complexes and sanatoriums. For members of the KAHR community, integrating with CheckInn offers a comprehensive toolkit:- Syncing and sales: the built-in Channel Manager syncs room inventory with international and CIS booking platforms (OTAs) with no risk of overbooking.
- Regulatory compliance: an important advantage for the Kazakhstani market is the system's direct integration with the eQonaq migration portal, which frees hoteliers from duplicating data by hand and saves time. Automatic submission of receipts to the tax authority via WebKassa is also in place.
- Artificial intelligence: a smart AI agent works 24/7. It can advise guests, help with bookings and answer questions, automatically recognising Kazakh, Russian or English.
- Transparent processes: a convenient booking grid (reservation calendar) along with housekeeping and extra-services modules let you keep finances and staff performance under control in real time.
